From small seeds, big ideas grow and that is how it was for the Inaugural ALVA Vivid Lights Cruise. One idea sparked by Irene St John (ALVA Committee member), and all of a sudden we were rugging up in our winter warmers for a wonderful night on Sydney Harbour. Who knew it was going to be that mild? We all thought it was going to be chilly but we were pleasantly surprised as we left the wharf and headed out for a lovely evening taking in the sights and catching up with friends and family. With excitement growing, we approached the wharf and there were our eager guests, all waiting to jump on board. The generosity of our tour guide, Mr Glenn Ware, was in abundance as we discovered 4 baskets full of DVDs covering a variety of movie titles. As you can see from the photos, everyone had a fantastic time and the harbour was in fine form. Lots of food, laughs and of course those lights!
